The Endometriosis Foundation of RI is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization committed to providing valuable research to those looking for answers and information in the areas of Endometriosis and to wholly use the Foundations knowledge and skills to increase awareness throughout.
Endometriosis affects roughly 200 million women throughout the world, and is also one of the most poorly understood conditions.

The Endometriosis Foundation of RI (“EFRI”) was established in October 2011, by Jennifer Zanni, after being diagnosed with stage III Endometriosis in early 2010. The idea of the foundation was something Jennifer had thought of shortly after being diagnosed.
In early 2012, EFRI held its first event, at Alex and Ani, Cranston, RI with over 150 people in attendance. EFRI brought in over $7,000 and raised $1,500 for the foundation for its first event. By March, EFRI created “Team Forza” (Forza is the Italian word for “strength”) and participated in the Irish 5k in Pawtucket. EFRI lit the RI State House “yellow” for the week of March 11 through March 18 for Endometriosis Awareness Month and we haven’t stopped hosting fundraiders since then.
EFRI is committed to providing valuable research to those looking for answers and information in the areas of Endometriosis and to wholly use the Foundations knowledge and skills to increase awareness throughout.
